How do I mount Jones bindings to my board?
Jones bindings are just as easy to mount to your board as any other snowboard bindings. If in doubt, check your owner’s manual for mounting instructions or check out this new video.
Good to know: when your binding bushings are new, they're uncompressed and make the bindings float slightly high above your topsheet. This is a key part of Skate Tech - it's those bushings which deliver our plush feel and awesome shock absorption. To mount them, try using one or two screws without the washers (careful not to screw deeper than the bottom of the insert!) to preload those bushings a little, and the discs really sucked down onto the board. Once they engage into the inserts, you can remove them then put all of the screws back in with the washers.
Once your bushings have worn in, you shouldn't have any problems getting the discs secured to the board, but if you take your bindings off your board for a while and the bushings bounce back, you can always use this same method to get your bindings mounted again.
Bindings Screw Lenght
Our bindings come with M6x10mm screws, which work with the industry standard inserts.
